Adding value by infusing period architecture into modern lifestyles.

The Process

What should I do, my house needs Curb Appeal?”

Homeowners and Real Estate agents ask this question often. A boring exterior can mask the charm of a nicely decorated and laid out interior. Lacking Curb Appeal and design can be the difference between a homeowner being satisfied with their home or wanting to move elsewhere. One may like their neighborhood but be totally clueless as to what can be done to an exterior. If one tries to sell their home, they quickly learn whether their home is lacking in Curb Appeal. Long stretches of time go with no interest in anyone looking at the house.

Curb Appeal gives a deeper appreciation of homeowners and families for their own home and draws anyone into an appreciation to notice a home that stands out in a neighborhood. The following are quotes of people associated with our Curb Appeal redesign projects:

Our neighbor thanked me for giving them something so attractive to look at!” - M.B. South Kansas City, MO

My house sold within the first week of its sale!” - G.F.- Leawood, KS

Thank you for turning our house into a home!” - J.T.- Prairie Village, KS

I love driving into our driveway. Our home is so attractive. I feel happy every time I see it.” - F. McM. – Brookside, Kansas City, MO

Our house sold within a month of listing!” - K.L.- RedBridge, Kansas City, MO

Curb Appeal creates harmony. It repeats certain design elements which gives a house, a building style and makes it appear as a particular period of architecture, not just a structure. A low roofed house, a ranch style, might take on the better character of a Prairie Style home. A tall house with ornamental shingle cuts might be a Victorian house with missing details. Putting details back or adding something that is memorable will help a house gain personality. It will give it Curb Appeal and make it more interesting to be a part of.
